GENERAL TERMS
Hired equipment will remain the property of Passion 4 (UK) Ltd at all times.
During the period of hire, the Hirer is solely responsible for the hire goods and must hold insurance to cover any lose or damage. Passion 4 (UK) holds full public liability insurance.

The Hirer undertakes to keep the hired goods in as good an operating condition as it was on the Start Date (fair wear and tear only accepted) and to return all equipment to Passion 4 (UK) Ltd in such order and condition.

Stickers and branding cannot be used without the prior permission of Passion 4 (UK) Ltd. When permission is given all equipment should be returned as supplied. Nothing can be attached to the furniture / machines without the permission of Passion 4 (UK) Ltd.

Settlement of the account is strictly prior to delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing by Passion 4 (UK) Ltd. 100% of the agreed price must be forwarded with your order to allocate stock and confirm your booking. At the very latest this payment must be made 10 working-days for cheques and 5 working-days for BACS / Faster Payment prior to hire Start Date.

When equipment is ‘dry hired’ it will be set-up at our base or a delivery point and demonstrated as working at which point the job sheet will be signed off. Should the equipment demonstrate faults after being moved by the customer, we cannot accept responsibility for this under or refunds policy, however we will provide phone support to try and rectify any issues.

DELIVERY / INSTALLATION / REMOVAL
Passion 4 (UK) Ltd will endeavour wherever possible to ensure that pre-agreed delivery and collection times are adhered to. However Passion 4 (UK) Ltd cannot accept responsibility for late deliveries or collections, due to any unforeseen circumstances.

Passion 4 (UK) Ltd warrants that the hire equipment shall be of satisfactory quality and fit for any purpose held out by Passion 4 (UK) Ltd. For retro arcade equipment this will be of a satisfactory quality taking in to account the age of the equipment being hired.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing the hired equipment will be delivered to a ground floor location. Should the event space require access via a lift or stairs this should be advised by the hirer prior to delivery and may be subject to an additional charge. Passion 4 (UK) Ltd reserves to right to refuse installation of the hired equipment should it feel the location is not suitable / safe to do so.

An additional charge may apply for wait time if a site is not available for set up at the time stated for delivery.  An additional full-day hire fee may apply if items are not ready for collection on the date / time stated on the booking confirmation.

In the event of any equipment requiring repair as a result of the Hirer’s negligence, misuse or abuse, then the hirer shall bear the cost of any such repair.

In the event that the goods are damaged beyond economical repair, or are lost, the hirer shall bear the full write-off cost. The hirer shall report to Passion 4 (UK) Ltd in writing within 48 hours of the event, any damage to or loss of equipment. Write-off costs for each product are available upon request.

CANCELLATION / NON-PAYMENT POLICY
Once accepted & signed, our booking confirmation becomes a contract and is thus subject to a cancellation fee as follows:

– Cancelled between 6 & 12 months of the event – 10% of hire charge
– Cancelled less than 6-months & more than 28-days of the event – 50% of hire charge
– Cancelled less than 28 days & more than 14-days of the event – 75% of hire charge
– Cancelled less than 14 days of the event – 100% of hire charge

This cancellation policy applies to all aspects of this contract but excludes any custom, printed, or bespoke items which are non-refundable once signed.

You acknowledge that Passion 4 (UK) Ltd shall not be responsible for any loss of or damage to the hired equipment arising out of or in connection with any negligence, misuse, mishandling of the equipment or otherwise caused by you. You will indemnify us against any third party claims or proceedings arising out of, or in connection with, any failure by you to comply with these terms.

In accordance with late payment legislation, our company charges debt recovery costs and interest on late payments (the Bank of England Reference rate plus 5%). This means that interest will continue to accrue daily on your outstanding debt from the date the debt became due.

We will be entitled at any time if you break this contract or if any proceedings are commenced in which your solvency is called into question, we will be entitled at any time to terminate this contract with immediate effect and to repossess any or all of the equipment. Such termination will affect our right to recover from you any money due to us under this contract or damages for breach of contract.

You authorise us as your agent to enter any land or premises where we believe any equipment to be, in order to inspect or repossess it.

Any failure by us to enforce any or all of these conditions shall not amount to or be interpreted as a waiver of any of our rights.

REFUNDS POLICY
Should any of our machines breakdown over the course of your event, or an item of furniture arrive damaged due to no fault of your or your guests, Passion 4 (UK) Ltd will refund this machine(s)/item(s) on a pro-rata basis.

DISCLAIMER
Passion 4 (UK) Ltd reserves the right to substitute any goods for appropriate alternatives in the event that the actual goods quoted for are not available.

We used Arcade Direct for a Boxing machine at the NEC. We chose them party due to the competitive price but also for the quick quote and helpful, clear communication. The machine was fully branded and looked fantastic. It was an absolute draw at the show and remarked on by many as the best entertainment there, bringing a lot of attention to our stand. During the show there was a part broken (no-ones fault) and Mark's support was brilliant with a courier sent immediately with a replacement to our Air bnb during the evening in time for the show opening the next day. We will definitely work with them on any future shows.

Highly recommend Arcade Direct. Mark was so helpful when i queried the status of an order of a Gaming Chair. As the delivery date was longer than expected i had to cancel however the customer service i received was fantastic.
