Hired equipment will remain the property of Passion 4 (UK) Ltd at all times.
During the period of hire, the Hirer is solely responsible for the hire goods and must hold insurance to cover any lose or damage. Passion 4 (UK) holds full public liability insurance.
The Hirer undertakes to keep the hired goods in as good an operating condition as it was on the Start Date (fair wear and tear only accepted) and to return all equipment to Passion 4 (UK) Ltd in such order and condition.
Stickers and branding cannot be used without the prior permission of Passion 4 (UK) Ltd. When permission is given all equipment should be returned as supplied. Nothing can be attached to the furniture / machines without the permission of Passion 4 (UK) Ltd.
Settlement of the account is strictly prior to delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing by Passion 4 (UK) Ltd. 100% of the agreed price must be forwarded with your order to allocate stock and confirm your booking. At the very latest this payment must be made 10 working-days for cheques and 5 working-days for BACS / Faster Payment prior to hire Start Date.
When equipment is ‘dry hired’ it will be set-up at our base or a delivery point and demonstrated as working at which point the job sheet will be signed off. Should the equipment demonstrate faults after being moved by the customer, we cannot accept responsibility for this under or refunds policy, however we will provide phone support to try and rectify any issues.
DELIVERY / INSTALLATION / REMOVAL
Passion 4 (UK) Ltd will endeavour wherever possible to ensure that pre-agreed delivery and collection times are adhered to. However Passion 4 (UK) Ltd cannot accept responsibility for late deliveries or collections, due to any unforeseen circumstances.
Passion 4 (UK) Ltd warrants that the hire equipment shall be of satisfactory quality and fit for any purpose held out by Passion 4 (UK) Ltd. For retro arcade equipment this will be of a satisfactory quality taking in to account the age of the equipment being hired.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing the hired equipment will be delivered to a ground floor location. Should the event space require access via a lift or stairs this should be advised by the hirer prior to delivery and may be subject to an additional charge. Passion 4 (UK) Ltd reserves to right to refuse installation of the hired equipment should it feel the location is not suitable / safe to do so.
An additional charge may apply for wait time if a site is not available for set up at the time stated for delivery. An additional full-day hire fee may apply if items are not ready for collection on the date / time stated on the booking confirmation.
In the event of any equipment requiring repair as a result of the Hirer’s negligence, misuse or abuse, then the hirer shall bear the cost of any such repair.
In the event that the goods are damaged beyond economical repair, or are lost, the hirer shall bear the full write-off cost. The hirer shall report to Passion 4 (UK) Ltd in writing within 48 hours of the event, any damage to or loss of equipment. Write-off costs for each product are available upon request.
CANCELLATION / NON-PAYMENT POLICY
Once accepted & signed, our booking confirmation becomes a contract and is thus subject to a cancellation fee as follows:
