For Sale – Star Wars Trilogy Arcade Machine Signed by Cast
Are you a gamer and Star Wars buff? Then you’ll want to check out our Star Wars Trilogy Arcade Machine that has been signed by the cast of the films, for sale by Arcade Direct. Yes, this piece of gaming and movie history could be sitting in your home or business for you and your friends to admire years to come!
Sega and Lucas Arts’ Star Wars Trilogy Arcade Machine smashed onto the scene in 1998, 15 years after the release of the final instalment of the original trilogy, Return of the Jedi. This 3D on rails shooter coincided with the release of the special edition releases of the original three films.
The Star Wars Trilogy arcade game is split into three sections, each dedicated to a movie in the original series with the player in charge of firing the lasers at the given targets using the on-screen cross-hair.
The first section is Star Wars IV: A New Hope themed with the player tasked with destroying the Death Star. Viewed in first person mode from the cockpit of an X-Wing Starfighter, the player has to take out the enemy fighters and ships before tackling the Death Star. The more enemies downed the higher the score which is totalled at the end of each round. Will you make the leaderboard?
In the Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back stage, destroy the Imperial Walkers on the icy planet of Hoth before facing off against the iconic bounty hunter, Boba Fett, to complete the level.
Moving to the final section of Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi, the player must destroy the Imperial Shield Generator whilst racing through the forest of Endor, taking out as many stormtroopers as possible whilst avoiding harming the peaceful Ewoks. Complete the task and you’ll face the game’s boss, Darth Vader, in a lightsabre duel!
With stunning recreations of the environments as seen in George Lucas’ franchise, dramatic orchestral score from John Williams, character dialogue albeit with impersonators and immersive sound effects, you’ll feel as though you’re reliving the events of the film as if you were actually there yourself. The joystick controller allows the player to aim with a fire button and special event button to be pressed during key moments in the levels.
Signed by Kenny Baker (R2D2) and Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett), this Star Wars Trilogy Arcade Machine is a must for any Star Wars gaming aficionado.
